After my last dentist visit I found out that acid reflux can strip away the enamel on my teeth. I knew that the acid could damage my esophagus but also damaging my teeth was news to me. The dental assistant gave me a sample of toothpaste that helps to strengthen enamel it is Sensodyne® ProNamel™. I used Colgate® Total® for its teeth whitener gel to help battle discoloration and stains on my teeth. This new toothpaste doesn’t foam like traditional toothpaste usually will. ProNamel™ helps by hardening the enamel of teeth with repeated use. I didn’t know that fruits, sodas and orange juice also wear down my enamel. The teeth’s enamel helps it to look white and healthy and as it breaks down so does the appearance of our teeth.
