Supplemental Vitamins for Hair Loss

When trying to maximize your hair loss treatment don’t count out vitamins. B vitamins, such as B3 and B6, and foods that have B vitamins in them will help hair growth and the overall health of the hair.

Along with taking B vitamins to stimulate hair growth taking too much of vitamin A actually hampers hair growth. It has been proven that if you stop taking vitamin A you can help slow hair loss. In order to get the body’s needed amount of vitamin A you can take beta-carotene instead.

Beta-carotene helps with bone growth and development, creates a protective sheathing around nerve fibers and helps grow healthy skin, hair and nails. The most important factor of beta-carotene is that the body converts it to vitamin A as needed.

Taking vitamins for hair loss is a great way to supplement an existing shampoo or treatment that will greatly increase the success rate at which you stop the hair loss and encourage hair growth.
