Massaging the Headaches Away

Massages have been used to help people with a multitude of illness throughout the centuries. There is no doubt a massage has it some therapeutic benefits.  One of the most common pains we all suffer is a headache. The causes can be as varied as there stars in the sky but there is a way to cope with the pain by giving yourself a simple massage.

Start by gently massaging your cheek bones with your thumbs. Move up the hair line slowly with a tiny circular motions. Massaging the temple, hair line, forehead and scalp as you go. Continue until your thumbs meet in the middle of your hair line. You may do this a couple times as necessary but remember to not hurt yourself in the process and if it is painful ease up on the pressure or stop all together.
