The best way to know if that organic product is actually more organic than synthetic is to look for the USDA Organic seal on the package. The USDA mandates that products that claim to be organic must be made up of at least 70% organic ingredients. They also require that manufacturers put the percentage on the package of the organic product.

Next time you go to buy that natural hair shampoo make sure you look for the USDA seal; otherwise you are not buying an authentic organic product.
