As a teenager I had severe acne and this really didn’t help the confidence issues we all have while going through high school. I tried everything to get the acne to go away and it wasn’t until I was staying at a friend’s house that the simplest answer came to me.
One morning my friend’s mother firmly told me to wash my face. She said that I might not wash my face at my house but at her house I was going to. My parents didn’t make me wash my face every morning and I had no clue that it could help fight my breakouts.
I didn’t know a whole lot about acne or what caused it. Mind you this was before the Internet wasn’t around for public use so information wasn’t as readily available. This firm command was the first light bulb that started my successful fight against acne and I have washed my face every morning since.
