Categories of Impacted Wisdom Teeth Part 2

In the last post we learned about Mesioangular Impaction and Vertical Impaction. In this post we will cover the final two types of impaction Distoangular and Horizontal.

Distoangular Impaction is the opposite of Mesioangular. This type of impaction has the wisdom tooth growing at a slight angle towards the back of the mouth.

Horizontal Impaction is the type that I have. This is also the rarest category to have; this is where the tooth is growing in at a 90 degree angle towards the front of the mouth.

If you want straight teeth or keep your current teeth from moving then having the impacted teeth removed as soon as possible is a good start and with what we have learned you will be able to recognize what type of impacted tooth you have!
